< City Wanderer > is a long-term project I am doing through observing people's city life.
I have been living in several large and crowded cities. I wanted to explore people's life in the concrete forest, balancing everyday life and a modern society. So I created a city wanderer as my character, she was finding a way out of the crowded city to get the light of hope. Sometimes, we need to find some sort of escape from reality to help us recharge.
This project would be continued as long as I still live a city life.
All the materials I used for this series works are mixed media, including watercolor, acrylic paints, pastels, color pencils. Based on 300g watercolor paper.
